Yin Yoga & Massage

Let yourself find a state of true relaxation and let go of all the worries of your day to day as you allow yourself to settle into a draw dropping blissful state.

We will be  during a waxing crescent moon phase so this practice will be the perfect way to support you in this phase to feel physically, mentally and spiritually recharged and regenerated. We’ll guide our meditations towards trusting your creativity, supporting your sense of joy, fresh perspectives, courage, faith and moving forward.

The yin poses are supported and passive stretches that you will hold between 5 and 10 minutes each, using cosy blankets, bolsters and blocs to support you… in this special class we will use the most relaxing poses…

These are open to beginners, non yoga practitioners, really anyone who wishes to slow down, practice letting go, self care,  stillness and Introspection with the extra special touch of mini massages.

The Massage: It’s not about being massaged the whole time, it’s more about getting a quick one every once in a while to help you go deeper and deeper in a nurturing relaxation.

But we do make it a small group to allow for Ildi to get to everyone a few times.

The power of touch activates the physiological system that enable us to feel safe.

This session drops you into a state of conscious rest which is very beneficial for the body, brain and heart as a whole.

Physically, this combination allows the nervous system to “down regulate” as the body’s soft tissues are stretched and compressed.

Nurturing touch and massage lower cortisol levels, reduce sympathetic nervous reactivity, it activates heart rate variability, and can increase oxytocin levels in the body.

And we think in modern society, we’ve lost the ability to nurture one another and to nurture ourselves. This is your opportunity.
