Philosophy of yoga

Yoga is not just a sequel of postures on the mat, is rather a lifestyle, is choosing our own truth over the delusion of Maya and our own ego.   In ancient Greece, entering the  temple of Apollo in Delphi you would read this maxim:  "know thyself" . Indeed, knowing oneself is the beginning of all wisdom. With this course we will try to give an answer to the eternal question that all of us secretly or less secretly ask ourselves:  “who am I, where I come from and where am I going? “Know thyself, and thou shalt know the universe and God.”

Indeed we will see the correlation and interdependence of all things. Understanding the laws and principles that govern the universe and therefore ourselves will make us the master of our destiny instead of being enslaved by our ego. We will learn about our different bodies, their needs and agenda and how to align them to reach our Higher self, Atma. If we stay open minded and curious the reward will be to truly become ourselves.
